Cotton & Polyester
- Machine Wash on Gentle Cycle: Use the gentle cycle setting on your washing machine. This helps protect the fabric and prevents excessive wear.
- Water Temperature: Use cold to warm water. Avoid hot water as it can cause shrinking of cotton and affect the polyester fibers.
- Mild Detergent: Use a mild detergent suitable for both cotton and polyester fabrics. This ensures effective cleaning without damaging the fibers.
- Separate Colors: Wash dark and light colors separately to prevent color transfer.
- Avoid Overloading: Do not overload the washing machine to allow the clothes to agitate freely and wash properly.
- Dry on Low Heat: If using a dryer, use a low heat setting. Polyester can melt under high heat, and excessive heat can also cause cotton to shrink. Alternatively, air dry to preserve the fabric and extend its lifespan.
- Ironing: If necessary, iron on a low heat setting. Polyester can be sensitive to heat, so use a lower temperature setting to avoid damaging the fabric.
